Terms of service
How a quote is locked, what happens if a card is rejected, when you get paid, and where the limits of responsibility sit.
01What we do
tangogc buys gift cards from sellers. We are the buyer in every trade: you sell, we pay. We do not sell gift cards, we do not source cards on behalf of merchants, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent for any brand whose card you sell.
By requesting a quote or submitting a card you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
02Who can sell
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.
- You must own the card, or be authorised by the owner to sell it.
- You must not be subject to sanctions, or located in a country where we cannot legally provide the service.
- You may be asked to verify your identity before a first payout, or before a large one.
03Quotes and lock-in
A quote states the percentage of face value we will pay. Rates follow the live market and move through the day.
- A quote is held for 30 minutes from the moment an agent confirms it to you.
- Submit the card within that window and the quoted rate is the rate you are paid, even if the market moves.
- After the window closes the card is re-quoted at the current rate, up or down.
- Boosted rates on the Deals page carry the same 30-minute rule; the boost is not a standing price.
04Submitting a card
Send the brand, currency, face value and the card number with its PIN, or a clear photo of a physical card. Describe the card accurately: wrong region, wrong balance or a partially spent card will be treated as a mismatch.
- Verification runs on two tracks: an automated balance and status check, then a manual review.
- It usually takes 5–10 minutes, and longer outside business hours in the card's region.
- Do not spend from a card once you have submitted it. A balance that drops during verification is a rejection.
05Rejected cards
A card may be rejected if it is invalid, already redeemed, region-locked in a way you did not disclose, has a balance that does not match, or fails a fraud check.
- You receive the verification screenshot showing why it failed.
- You can appeal within 24 hours; the re-check is free.
- If the rejection was our mistake, we pay the original quoted rate.
- If the card genuinely fails, no payment is due — but you keep the card, and nothing is charged for the check.
06Getting paid
- Payout starts as soon as verification passes. The platform average is 83 seconds.
- Bank rails depend on clearing hours; worst case we quote 2 hours. USDT is available in every region.
- Payment goes only to an account in your own name. Third-party accounts are refused for anti-fraud reasons.
- Our margin is already inside the quoted rate. There is no separate commission, and no charge for a rejected card.
- You are responsible for any tax owed on what you receive, and for fees charged by your own bank or wallet.
07Your promises
By submitting a card you confirm that:
- The card was obtained lawfully, and is not stolen, cloned or generated by fraud.
- You have the right to transfer it, and no one else has a claim on the balance.
- The details you give are accurate, and the card has not been submitted to another buyer.
- The funds you receive are not proceeds of crime.
08Prohibited use
- Submitting stolen, fraudulent or already-sold cards.
- Using the service to launder money, evade sanctions or finance anything unlawful.
- Submitting the same card to several buyers at once, or spending a card after submitting it.
- Impersonating another person, or using documents that are not yours.
- Probing, scraping, overloading or attempting to bypass the platform's security.
A breach can lead to cancellation of the trade, suspension of the account, and a report to the relevant authorities.
09Suspension
We may pause a trade or decline to serve you if a fraud or sanctions check flags the trade, if we cannot verify who you are, or if the law requires it. Where we do this, we tell you why as far as the law allows, and any amount already owed for a card we accepted is still paid.
10Liability
We are responsible for paying the rate we quoted for a card we accept. Beyond that:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
- Our total liability for any single trade is limited to the amount payable for that trade.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by your bank, your wallet provider, or a network outage outside our control.
- Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
11Indemnity
If a claim is brought against us because a card you submitted was not yours to sell, or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover the resulting loss and reasonable costs.
12Trademarks
Brand names and logos shown on this site belong to their owners and are used only to identify the cards we accept. Their appearance does not imply any partnership, sponsorship or endorsement. All other content on this site belongs to tangogc.
13Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. The version in force for a trade is the one published when you locked your quote, so a later change does not alter a trade already agreed.
14Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which tangogc is established. Before any formal step, please raise the issue with an agent — most disputes are about a card status and are settled in a single conversation.
Unclear on a clause?
Ask before you submit. An agent can confirm the rate, the payout method and what happens if the card fails.
